Try an addon called "Friendly Player Names"

It will remove a ton of that text spam on your screen by toggling off the friendly player names and make your targeting and overall visuals ALOT easier for ya.

 

Toggle on/Toggle off via /fpn.

 

Its a great addon IMHO.
